What’s the difference between Leaders and Managers? I often get asked tis question, and the answer is simple. Leaders inspire people to follow them while Managers have people who work for them. There is a subtle difference and just because you’re now a “Manager” of people by title, doesn’t make you a “Leader”.
Over the years I have worked with different types of Leaders and helped coach them develop their style so they can inspire people to follow them. By using techniques like Empathy, Emotional Intelligence and NLP they are able to see how their actions affect other people. By making small changes to the things they do and say, has a huge impact on the engagement and productivity of their team.
