"The pessimist complains about the wind. The optimist expects it to change. The leader adjusts the sails.”
What’s the difference between Leaders and Managers? I often get asked tis question, and the answer is simple. Leaders inspire people to follow them while Managers have people who work for them. There is a subtle difference and just because you’re now a “Manager” of people by title, doesn’t make you a “Leader”.
Over the years I have worked with different types of Leaders and helped coach them develop their style so they can inspire people to follow them. By using techniques like Empathy, Emotional Intelligence and NLP they are able to see how their actions affect other people. By making small changes to the things they do and say, has a huge impact on the engagement and productivity of their team.
Are you a in a position where you feel your team are not following you or are not as passionate about the cause as you are? I know how you feel, because I was there too and it’s lonely and frustrating.
My Leadership Mentoring will help you develop your own skills, build a team who want to follow you, delegate your day to day tasks, free up your time from working IN the processes, make you accountable to someone (Me) and ultimately make you into a leader who’s team will follow anywhere.
I like this quote by American Entrepreneur and Author, Jim Rohn: “The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humour, but without folly.”
If you’re ready for the next stage in your career and leadership development I’d love to join you so please send me a message.
